Prophecy of Bashim

As told to Arben by an old gypsy crone. Later repeated to Wirshin by an itinerant priest.

   "Oy, my dogs are barking," she says,
   And soaks her feet in the sea.
   "Once I loved the wrong damn man,
   Now no one will ever love me."

   Her neighbor is so womanly--
   A former sea king's daughter,
   Cursed by Zeus to be womanly
   For enslaving the land to the water.

   Where such a pair of women dream,
   This is where you'll find Bashim.
