Talk:Freeing the Magdalene
The wet angel we saw outside the tomb was summoned by Brother Ilsan, the priest in Theodoric's party. He was an Arrian like Theodoric. The existence of this angel, and his reference to "Abraham, Arrianus, and Mohammed" indicates a second war in heaven, a war between angels over the divinity of Christ, as at least two out of the three (or all three, if Abraham represents the Jews) deny said divinity. I think that Eorl's Record of his Conversation with the Angel Nelchael seems to indicate that either this happened after Nelchael was bound, or he didn't know about it for other reasons. Still, the fact that the angel was wet may indicate he's with the bad guys. This line of inquiry bears further exploration.
Noah: Very interesting! Nelchael claims that the first war in heaven was brought about by Side B shenanigans... I wonder if the second war was caused by Side A as a distraction while the axis was placed.
