Noah: This should have been an open-and-shut encounter, even if we did blunder into it a bit foolishly. Dice roll a little funny for everyone, sometimes. Those guys were AC 8 and we couldn't hit them. Goes to show ya... you never know. Thank goodness we had those two 0th level humans with us, or we really would have been goners.
