The Danger Gang Learn That It's Hard To Fight All Those Harpies

After a night fearful of partying, the Danger Gang sets off to take care of the Harpy problem Martialis said he'd take care of for the Maenads.

They take to the air with an assortment of spells, after stuffing their ears with wax. The fly over an island with a filthy lagoon, and out from the trees emerges a gaggle of harpies. Their song quickly ensorcells Barry Ceasefire and Kotrag. Can knocks out a dude or two with a Color Spray, but Ezio's Stinking Cloud seems less effective. Indeed, it seems the crew is having their asses handed to them. They get the heck out of there while they still can. They dive down into the ocean and fly beneath the waves back to the S.S. Tigress. They decide it would be best to get some distance between them and the Harpy Island, so they seal to a nearby Poison Swamp Island.

The rest there for a few hours, but unfortunately both Can and Kotrag get diseased. They sail back to the Maenads, who are kind enough to patch them up. Marty decides it would be a good idea to bring along some Enlarged insects to back them up. He whips some out, but the insects instantly fail to resist the song of the harpies. They get out of there before it has a chance to get much worse. They decide to get another night's rest so they can come at this with fresh eyes.
