The Danger Gang hears rumors from Cum Guzzler and then ride on

The next morning the Danger Gang awakes to find their new friend Cum Guzzler ready with some breakfast and some intel. Arben told him that they were from outside Phillipi, and so Cum Guzzler spurts out some info on a pillar there (a Bulgar king from a century or two ago carved "Khan Isbull" on it), the Font Of Lydia (where St. Paul baptised Lydia the purple dye maker; now a Christian shrine). He also claims that he was in a battle where Basil II was killed, and that the Basill II we all know is actually an imposter made of straw.

Martialis buys a pig so that he might befriend it. They're told that it is a six or seven days ride to Phillipi, and so they prepare for the dangerous journey ahead.

They mount up and continue their ride. The day's ride is pleasantly uneventful.
