The Danger Gang parley with Mermen in the Sea of Azov

The party continues sailing and soon return to the Sea of Azov, where they are reunited with the group (pod?) of mermen who gave them so much trouble the last time through.

They have been making undersea inquiries into the nature and whereabouts of the Spawn of the Sea and can report a few things:

• The spawn originated far to the south, perhaps down African way.

• The south-eastern side of the Euxine is their HQ; some guy dropped them in there.

• The person (demigod, morelike) to ask about them is Anahita, who sits on the Throne of Solomon.

• Interestingly, whoever brought them to the Euxine is not the same individual who bound them and buried them there.

They also report that the ruins underneath the Azov are total dullsville. Mostly, they want to go home.

The Danger Gang make vague promises to deal with the Spawn in the future and, after wishing the mermen good health, continue on their way.

Anxious to avoid the laborious trek through hell-hound infested Melitene territory, the Gang disembarks and those not already slight of figure are shrunk to the size of kidney beans and placed in Zombres' pocket. He then teleports back to the Tigress.

Remarkably, the Tigress crew are hale and hardy. After the mandatory check for brainslugs, the crew hoist the sails and spend the rest of the day sailing.
