The Danger Gang travel by land to the Sea of Azov

The Gang presses on from the minor Khazarian city of Tamantarka to the Sea of Azov. Overland travel there takes most of the day.

Hoping to get a headstart on the journey to Sarkel, Kolya expands the boat and the party sails north. After three hours of unimpaired travel, a freak storm sends the crew flailing about the vessel and Zombres is tossed overboard and knocked unconscious (possibly in reverse order). Karl Shinyhands bravely takes the plunge after him, and, in an unlikely event, manages to find Zombres with no trouble and return him to the boat.

The Magdeleon makes it to shore without further incident and the damp heroes rest for the evening.
