(a.k.a. The Anusless Beast, a.k.a. La bête sans anus)
A twelve foot long beast with the hind quarters of a crocodile, the front quarters of a lion, and the middle part of a hippopotomus. It attacks with it's nasty bite, but is too weighty to claw. Encountered in the Egyptian temple in Phillipi and killed by the Danger Gang. It is believed to magical in nature, having lived alone without food or water in the dungeon for at least two-hundred years. Also, it had no anus.
An identical beast was killed( or rather, rekilled) in an Egyptian-themed Creitan dungeon by the Temporary Party.
Another was encountered in the Egyptian themed Hilarious Tomb of Stratoniche, except this one was svelt enough to use its front claws. Apparently, they are the favored dungeon guarding monster of the Egyptians.
The Byzantine Envoys encountered three of these creatures in the Tarot Dungeon under Novgorod in the only Egyptian-themed room in the entire place. They were all killed.
