After a long night licking their wounds, the Danger Gang is ready to start raiding tombs. Arben has grabbed Can, who has recovered from the bad mushrooms he ate. After a little more magical healing, they climg down the hole to the tombs. Everyone casts the assorted spells they feel would aid them in their quest and then Ramble busts down the door to the Hall Of The Ancients (their agreed upon starting point). It heads north up a short flight of stais to a small room with a five foot wall pillar in the middle. It is agreed that this pillar most likely contains the hole leading to the cave full of shadows. No one is anxious to go there again, but there seems to be nothing else in this room. That is until a Stone Guardian busts through the north wall, which, it turns out, was made of plaster. No one is affraid of its giant stone hands, and so it is quickly defeated. The plaster wall it burst through was hiding a door to the north. Everyone is excited. They head through doorway down the corridor to a small room with an obelisk. The obelisk is covered in writing on three sides, and there's writing on the floor too. These inscriptions can be viewed here. They take a rubbing for Eorl, cause Eorl loves this kind of stuff, then head back down a side tunnel of the corridor.

They soon find another room with huge terra cota statues of Dionysus and Aphrodite. The statue of Aphrodite looks like this: http://www.grendel.org/hunter/gaming/share/aegae_aphro.png

Upon viewing these fine pieces of art work, it is agreed that they should be smashed. After all, there might be treasure inside. They tie ropes around them and pull them to the ground, but there is no treasure to be found. However, the loud noise does attract the attention of two skeletal snakes who slither in ready for action. Karp bears his holy symbol to try to turn them, but no luck. Can tries to blind them with his world famous Color Spray, but unfortunately, he didn't notice that the snakes have no eyes. They're going to have to kill them the old fashion way. Soon the snakes are crushed beneath their weapons. Their bones fall like dominos, like something out of a Harry Potter movie.

The gang presses on, anxious to investigate what these snakes must have been guarding. It seems they were guarding a crap ton of gold boxes with bones inside. The Danger Gang finds locked room after locked room, each with a gold box, about the size of a breadbox, with bones and ashes inside. They are unable to get into some rooms, but they assume that these rooms will only include more of the same. The boxes all have names inscribed on them (all except one which is quite mysterious). The names include Euridce, Aeropes, Halcetas, Amentas, Gigaea, Polemacretes, Daredas (who was a princess of Macedon), Alexander, Coenus, and then...another one labled Euridice? Ramble and Martialis end up taking the brunt of the damage, but soon the creature falls before them. They decide that after all this, it would be a good idea to rest.

People rest and heal eachother for a little while. Can and Arben memorize a few more Knock spells and burst open some doors. Inside they find the remains of Irrhas, Phillip, and Harhobeus.
