The Following Alexander Party recently freed a bevy of beauties from the Castle of Maidens. Here's a list:

- Chiyono, daughter of the retired Japanese emperor Reizei
- Cleantha, sister of Pope John XV
- Dolores, a princess of the elves of Iberia
- Elsbietka, second daughter of the Mieszko I, Duke of Poland and his first wife, Dobrawa.
- Gaidaa, daughter of Ziri, Maghrawa Emir of Morocco
- Gretchen, cousin of Otto III, the Holy Roman Emperor
- Gwynn, daughter of the king of Galatea
- Huiling, daughter of the Chinese(ie, Northern Song) Emperor Taizong

Bonus maidens were Khrosa, a patchwork girl from America who attacked and was killed by the party, and Penthila, a girl who had been turned to stone. We left her in the castle.
Note that Chiyono and Pharat speak no language that anyone else in the group knows. Look at the list and you will realize that means they are from somewhere either very very isolated or a very very small group of people. However, Chiyono can communicate by writing with Huiling.
