Giant

Large humanoids prone to throwing stones and wielding trees as clubs. May or may not have additional natural abilities.

Known to exist or formerly existed in the following locations:

• Bulgaria - Encountered in the northwest on the road to the Elven Ruins a few days before the glass paving stones appeared. Occupied a small hill with some connected caves in it. There were 3 fire giants here, who were able to take endless damage unless they were set on fire. Once set on fire, the damage would catch up with them and they could be killed. All 3 giants killed by the Byzantine Envoys.

• Everbloom - Two giants are alleged to be the guardians of a place of eternal Spring near Kebnegard.

• Kebnegard - Frost giants have taken Kebnegard. Numbers, unusual abilities, etc. all unknown. A single hill giant has allied with King Orm.

• Polotsk - Found near the border to Novgorod. May ambush travellers toward the end of the mountain pass before the border. Have armor, but otherwise exercised usual tactics. A few were killed by the Byzantine Envoys but the location of their cave and total population remains unknown.

• Novgorod - Had Novgorod under seige. Concentrated to the north of the city while their zombie allies guarded the south. Defeated by the Byzantine Envoys.
