Danger Gang

A band of adventurers based out of Chrysopolis currently trying to stop the octopuses.

They can be identified by their signature rings, forged from treasure from dungeons they've raided. Each has delta and gamma inscribed on them.

Currently, a good half of the Gang has been kidnapped by Barnacle Bashim

• Arben: Called out of retirement to deal with a Lich, instead he made a deal with the Lich. Then they beat up the Lich. Now he's probably going to retire again. This time, for reals.
• Gershom: A Jewish cleric of some repute, his legitimacy would lend the D.G. some cred, if it weren't for the fact that he was a Jew. He's currently escorting Black Rachel on the Beau Memorial Clean Up Corsica Mission.
• Gwynn: Welsh born-again-pagan who pissed of Church authorities in Wales, escaped witchcraft accusations, and is now engaged on a quest to join the Old Gods.
• Diogenes: stinky Christian who adores beans, cares about poor people, and dislikes the Catholic Church and jerks everywhere.

Formerly Active Members (Status ?)

• Can: the comic relief; whilst always having a handy spell on hand, Can's cheif benefit to the group is his hilarious stench. As the senior active member, Can has been given the position of leader, with the stipulation that he'll listen to Martialis.
• Martialis: the kid; as the youngest member of the Gang, Martialis tends to be watched over by others, despite the fact that he's one of the most combat capable. His last known where abouts were in a pointed cage in mouse form.
• Karl Shinyhands: A treasure-hunting Gnome who had heard of the Danger Gang's track record for finding loot. His great strength and good nature landed him a slot.
• Kotrag: A barbarian, known for his friendship with the blind girl, Hush, and his diminishing distaste for all things magical.
• Hush: A blind pubescent girl, she is Kotrag's ward. Her high Detect Noise ability sometimes gets her dragged into dungeons.
• Lleryn: Returned to active duty after yellow musk creeper-ism, since then he's been a little, well, off.

• B The Beholder: A Beholder-kin originally from Nirvana, requesting aid from the D.G. against those that would return him to his home plane. He currently resides at the Governor's Mansion Inn where he produces wine in exchange for room and board.

The Danger Gang Auxiliary

• Leo: The scribe's duties at the Gregory Memorial Library keep him from adventuring full time, but his repeated aid to the group have earned him an honorary position.
• Eorl: The lieutenant governor of Chrysopolis tends to pull the strings of the D.G., having sent them on their current fact finding mission about the dreaded octopuses. Unfortunately, his gubernatorial duties keep him from adventuring with the others full time.
• Xenon: A thousand year old Mummy that Gershom raised from the dead. He is now Captain of the Guard of Chrysopolis.
• Ezio: Sheltered italian aristocrat on the run. Torn between studying in the library of Chrysopolis and doing "Field Work" with the Danger Gang.
• Zahrah: The Ranger teamed up with the D.G. after Lugurix convinced her that she could learn more about her hero Kabar Hadra by hanging out. After she got freed from Barnacle Bashim's galley, she decided to go do something else.

Deceased/Retired

• Gregory: The paladin fell defending his comrades in their home base of Chrysopolis.
• Brother Peter: the diplomat; Brother Peter abides his companions' excentricities with the calm reserve befitting a man of the cloth. Was turned into a simpleton by a Yellow Musk Creeper. Fully recovered as of May 23, 988.
• Ramble: the cautionary; new to adventuring, he still gets a little freaked out by monsters and magic. He eventually grew tired of being nearly killed by monsters and decided to cut and run.
• Karp: Was traveling with the DG, though not a member of the Danger Gang proper. He gave everyone the creeps with his weirdo religion. Arben successfully Legend Lored this religion to learn that no one else in the world practices it or knows anything about it. Was frozen and chopped up by an insane Crypt Keeper at Aege.
• Tobin: Also not an official member of the Danger Gang, but offered his muscle to back them up. Unfortunately, the fighter seems to suffer from bipolar disorder, switching between being geared up for action and sulking quietly in a corner for no external reason. This eventually led to his retirement, working on the farm of a nice married couple in Vergina.
• Beau: A shepherd from Corsica, he came to Chrysopolis looking for help in freeing his island from the pirates ravaging it. The D.G. said they'd look into it in exchange for his services as a fighter. Gained official membership after proving his ability to dish it out much more than he can take it and his general positive outlook. He was bit in the face by the snake hair of a Medusa, killing him instantly.
