Eorl Receives The Danger Gang's Request For Help

Eorl's afternoon of signing forms is interupted when Arctophilus comes in, bearing a letter. It's a letter from Arben, saying Brother Peter and Lleryn are in need of healing and that Eorl should send a boat for them to Thessaloniki with all due haste. "As if I don't have enough to worry about," thinks Eorl. He asks Oeone to Scry what's going on for him, and sees that Peter and Lleryn are indeed, a little bit out of comission. He tracks down his friend, the skilled boatman Kolya, who has just returned to Chrysopolis after running another erand for the lieutenant governor. He pursuades Kolya to pilot his good ship Kivot to Thessaloniki to meet up with the Danger Gang.
