Fast Times on the Sea of Glass
April 1st - 9th
Harald and party skim slowly across the Sea of Glass in their broken-down Sky-skimmer. Random encounters abound, leading to battles with such diverse foes as purple worms, electric ghosts, salamanders, elven undead from long long ago, and an efreet. The efreet was a pompus jerk who tried to steal some Maidens, but was repeled by our heroes. However, he was a crafty bastard, and went gaseous only to return when all our spells had worn off. Harald wouldn't give up any maidens, leading to a very tense battle which led to the death of El-agalay and the melting of the Simulacrum. The undead elves spoke strangely, mentioning that they were a rear-guard left over from an Elven migration away from the Sea of Glass. They also used the phrase "To go to the West" in a very strange fashion, and looked at Harald like he was insane when he spoke of going to the West as a literal geographical movement. One crazy undead was incredibly fast and seemed not entirely in our plane of existence. He was referred to by another as having "gone west". Dolores, elven princess, had no idea what this was all about. On April 9th the somewhat smaller and more depressed party reached the far side of the Sea of Glass and kissed the sand, rejoicing that they would only face a regular desert encounter table from now on.
