The Danger Gang doze under the watchful eye of their new friend Little Caesar. There has been much healing and they sure did need it. Little Ceez tells them all about the final showdown going on a few miles north of here. There's a ring of evil Treants being held back by good Treants, and there's a Green Dragon flying around up above. There is much debate about whether to go by air or by land, but it's ultimately settled that while a punch from a treant could probably take out any one of them, a blast of chlorine breath could take out quite a few of them, and it's less likely that multiple Treants would disengage from their opponents to fight the gang. So, land it is. They mount up and ride.

The bad news is, en route, they get another random encounter. The good news is, it's just a giant sundew, so they fight their way out from its tendrils and press on. The bad news is, not before they find the disembodied head of poor Mehta, the unicorn riding dryad. They ride on to the north and soon see the ring of fighting trees in the distance. Marty casts Hold Plant and Warp Wood to punch a hole through the line and they hustle through the crack. An evil Dryad pops out of one of the trees and tries to do a number on Barry, but she fails.

Inside the compound is a truly sad sight. Dead animals. A wounded unicorn. An arch druid fighting for nature with all his remaining strength. And there, on a bed of flower petals or leaves or something is Queen Vierga. Marty rushes forward and plants the shadow at her feet. A great rainbow circle of energy splashes out of her, instantly healing the whole forest. Everybody is happy! Hooray!

The bad news is, The Brown One is dead.

Still, there is much celebrating. Rootberry, King of the Ents is dancing and laughing. Stanna kisses a faun. Marty gladhands his higher-up in the druid organization. The Queen thanks the Gang whole heartedly, and asks them what reward she could give her heroes. They ask for two things:

1. A lock of Unicorn Hair.

2. Reincarnation for their poor, brave little gnome friend.

She agrees. Soon, out from the woods, comes a strange, but oddly familiar little gnome, who makes a beeline for Karl's corpse to root through it for gemstones. "It's me!"

Everyone is happy.
