The Danger Gang rides to Thessaloniki

The Danger Gang gets an early start on the Via Egnatia from Phillipi to Thessaloniki. En route they see poor Greeks, filthy Bulgars, and a Cyclops marching with a small Bulgar platoon. They ride until after dark, and at first the watchman is hesitant to let them in. Martialis turns on the charm and soon the guard is inviting them to sleep in the barracks.
